    Hi Rip,

There is a teenager I know who lost his left arm ( above the elbow) in an accident while young. Any ideas on how he could strength train?

    Thanks

    He can squat.

This might be a good application of the safety squat bar if he can't use the regular bar (no idea)?

    Look it up on elitefts.com.

I'll bet there's a way for him to use a regular bar, if his coach is resourceful.

Rip, He looks like he needs to squat as he is really skinny. Any ideas on how the bar placement can be supported by the lack of one arm?

No, but it can be done. I had a client with fine motor paralysis on her right side as the result of a brain tumor removal, and she squatted and benched without too much trouble. You just have to figure out a way for him to support the bar in position with the limb he's got. Figure it out. You can.
