Coach
In SS:BBT you have a photo of a typical training log showing one Onus Wunsler's workout plan and first couple of weeks of training (workout copied below). I never gave it much thought until bango skank posted it alongside your other workouts on another forum. Then all of a sudden it looked like a legitimate alternative to your novice workouts in SS:BBT and PP.
My question: In what case would you recommend the Onus Wunsler plan rather than one of your other novice plans? Is it a matter of anthropometry or goals or starting fitness level or what? I ask because I'm a big tall noodle of a guy prone to back problems, and I hear (anecdotally) that back extensions are good for folks w/ recurring back problems.
So: how do I know if the Onus Wunsler Workout is right for me?
Onus Wunsler's Workout from SS:BBT:
Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Press
1x5 Deadlift alternated w/ 5x3 Power Cleans
Workout B
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
3x10 or 5x10 Back Extensions (unweighted)
Chin-Ups: 3 sets to failure or add weight if completing more than 15 reps
You try it and see, tall silly person. You learn about this like you do everything else you actually know to be true.
