Hi everyone. This is an awesome forum.

I'm pretty much a newb to strength training, so I figure I might as well keep a log on here to track progress etc. I already record my workouts in a book but I thought others would like to see what Im doing. Also, any help or advice along the way is much appreciated!

Anyway, my name is Tim, 80kg, Male, student etc. and I am currently using Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength Novice program. I've been on his program for about 4 months now and have had steady progress, although had some form issues with squat, but it's all good now!

Anyway, here is what Im doing:

    Workout A:

    Squat ? 5 x 3

    Bench ? 5 x 3

    Deadlift ? 5 x 1

    Workout B:

    Squat ? 5 x 3

    Press ? 5 x 3

    Power Clean ? 3 x 3

3 x week, alt ABA, BAB etc.

Im going to keep my workouts as basic as possible until my lifts are halfway decent! I.e. until I reach my goals. My goals (5 RM) are a 120kg squat, 90kg bench, 60kg press, 130kg dead and 70kg PC ASAP. Im a way off at the moment, but hey, Ill try. My Current 5RM are:

    Squat - 90kg x 5 x 3
    bench - 75kg x 5 x 3
    Press - 47.5kg x 5 x 3
    Deadlift - 105kg x 5 x 1
    PowerClean - 50kg x 3 x 3

I will update my workout tomorrow .
