Training for the Aged
53 yo, 205 lb, 5'10" - recent maxes: SQ 300, BP 200, DL 315, PR 150
In past: 1 PL meet, 8 OL meets, 1 highland games.
Not much lifting last few years due to shoulder injuries.
Jogged down to 175 lb. from 235 - 5K, 10K, 2 half marathons, 2 full, one 50K trail ultra (briefly vegan hippie!)
Now trying to regain some LBM before I fall and can't get up
Have recently read BB Rx (ref age) and working on hard copy SSbbt (familiar from teh interwebz).
So, here goes:
SQ 45x5,5, 75x5, 95x3, 115x2, 135x5,5,5 - light, reintroducing shoulders to low bar position
BP narrow grip 45x5,5, 65x5, 85x3, 100x2, 115x5,5,5 - easing in, both shoulders have been "fixed"
DL clean grip 95x5,5, 115x5, 135x3, 160x2, 185x5
felt good

Good to see you back at it. It's almost never too late. I started when I was 66. We have a man in our gym who started at age 90.
