    Default Hip Shift in DL - What to do?

    Not sure how to tackle this issue. Pretty sure this is causing (or at least contributing to) some discomfort in the right side of my hip.

    I'm not seeing anything weird with the hips. But you should definitely move your grip inward to where your forefinger is about an inch from the smooth, and review the 5 step deadlift method.

    Hands too wide. You don't lock out. Those are the things I noticed. Try video from 45 degrees instead of at your rear. Many people have some unique movements with their deads. I've never seen anyone roll their feet and move their knees out before lifting, but to each his own.
