I am very excited to see you progress on the lifts. If you pace yourself and stay patient and consistent, the amount of strength you can gain on a frame your size is just staggering.
As weeks go by my guess is that you'll see pounds come OFF your body and go ON to the barbell, until it all meets in the middle somewhere, followed by years of lifting at supra-bodyweight maximums. If you're not squatting 500 and deadlifting 600 well before you hit my age (40), I will be positively shocked.
