    Dude, 27 years, 197lbs, 5´8¨

    Squat 280, Deadlift 385, Bench 240, Overhead 135

Second time through LP. Previous problems with squat include knee slide at the bottom, not maintaining thoracic extension, and not hitting depth.

My last two sets at 280 from a couple days ago.

    Thanks!

    Welcome back sir!

You are squatting way the hell back into your heels at the bottom. You're actually doing a reverse knee slide where your knees pull back as you hit the hole, lol.

Keep the knees posted forward as you sit down, rather than back. You could also try just cueing "mid-foot!".

I guess I have a case of the overcompensations.

Pretty rough session this morning. First two sets I focused on sitting down instead of back, mid-foot, etc. While not fixing that problem, I also then felt unable to maintain my back angle with my hips shooting up from the hole...

So last set I took weight off, and to my eyes I seem to mostly avoid the backward bar movement.

    Your input is appreciated.

Today @ 265. Not to sound silly, but I feel like a nailed the 3rd rep. I really think I can feel a difference and benefit by sitting "down" instead of "back," like I can sense for the first time the stretch reflex.
