    Cool Fling4life is starting again

    Time to start gaining again.

    Squat 80 kg 1x5
    Press 40 kg 3x5
    Deadlift 95 kg 1x5

    Allright, here is some background:

    I ran SS in 2016 and made the following numbers:
    Squat 130 kg 3x5
    Bench 87,5 kg 3x5
    Deadlift 150 kg 1x5
    Press 52,5 kg 3x5
    BW: 82 kg

    I got injured and became a father.
    Tried to get back into it but didnt recover well(Lack of sleep).

    Stayed with the lifts but didnt do any program just squatting, benching and deadlifting when i had the time.


    I ran 5/3/1 in spring and summer 2018.
    Not really happy with the numbers and want to go back to the basic to increase my squat to a decent level.
    Numbers after 5/3/1
    Squat 110 kg 1x6
    Bench 97,5 kg 1x1
    Press 62,5 kg 1x1
    Deadlift 140 kg 1x10 130 kg 1x20
    Bw: 81 kg


    So im going to do deadlift every session until my recovery stops me from progressing.
    Im also working at a desk now and my flexibility is not good in my upper body.
    I have to use a wide grip in the lowbar squats causing me to loose tension in my upper back.
    So my goal for this run is to increase mobility and staying free of injury.

    Next session tomorow.
    I feel a little bit of doms in my legs but not much.
    Willl probably go away when squatting tomorow.

    A quick and nice workout during lunch today.

    Squat 80 kg 3x5
    Bench 70 kg 3x5
    Deadlift 100 kg 1x5
    Chins BW 1x5

    The whole workout took me 30 minutes (Warmup included).
    Squats feelt a lot easier than my first session.

    Will be going out of town to play some gigs this weekend (Friday and saturday), dont think the hotel got any gym but will get back under the barbell on sunday!

    Hello!
    Guess what. We found a gym before the show yesterday.
    Squat 85 kg 3x5
    Bench 72,5 kg 3x5
    Powerclean 50 kg 3x3

    I was teaching my bandmate pc so i decided to skip the deadlift.
    The workout feelt good.
    Got Home late yesterday and went out hunting early in the morning today.
    Crisp air and a beutiful quiet sunrise.
    Anyhow took an afternoon nap with my son after and my throat was really sore.
    Im going out of town for work tomorow and the hotel im staying at seems to have some kind of squat rack.
    Hopefully is the cold just temporary and i Will be able to workout!

    Oh yeah back under the bar.
    Still not feeling well but the workout went fine.
    Except my heart rate went up a lot during the squats.

    Squat 90 kg 3x5
    Press 42,5 kg 3x5 (Super easy)
    Deadlift 100 kg 1x5 (Dammit i forgot to increase to 105 kg will do next time).

    Looking forward to some doms in the legs tomorow!!

    A great session today.
    Squat 95 kg 3x5
    Bengt 75 kg 3x5
    Deadlift 110 kg 1x5


    Still going overhand grip and beltless on deadlifts.
    Did 90 kg as warmup and it feelt super easy so i decided to go for 110 kg.

    Dammit.
    Stayed Home from work today because my son was sick.
    My girlfriend is working late so i wouldnt make it to the gym before it closes.

    Did the best of the situation and död 10x10 swings with a 24 kg kettlebell at Home.

    Perfect warmup for squats press and powercleans tomorow!

    starting strength coach development program
    Allright heres what happened since i posted the last post.
    I spoke with my girlfriend on the phone and she reminded me that she is going at a christmas party at work tomorow night.
    I acted fast. Got my son in the car and drove to my Parents. (I keep a squat rack and barbell in their basement).
    I Only har one hour before i had to get my son into bed.

    So feeling warm from the swings i got under the bar.

    Squat 100 kg 3x5 (filmed my last set, will se if i find a way to uppload it, looked a lot easier than it feelt.)
    Bench 77,5 kg 3x5
    One set of pc at 50kg but it didnt feel good and i ran out of time so i stopped there.

    Now my son is asleep and i feel great about not missing a workout.
    I wonder if i will feel the swings tomorow....
