    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    Currently about 10 weeks in:

    Squat (3x5): 265
    Press (3x5): 95
    Bench (3x5): 130
    Deadlift (1x5): 320

    5'9" / 230 lbs. Per Withings, 71.7 lbs fat / 151.2 lbs muscle mass. 10 weeks ago, it was 77.1 / 138.6. Initially, I wasn't doing the program so well from a diet perspective; with a renewed focus on that over the past couple of weeks and moving forward, I'm curious to see how the needle moves.

    Welcome. How do you determine how much fat and how much muscle you have?

    Withings is a company who makes scales that measure body fat %. I used one a few years ago; I have no idea about the accuracy. But, if he always uses the same one, he will know if it goes up or down, even if the starting # wasn't correct.

    Yep — what Clay said. I don’t assign much importance to each individual rating, rather the overall direction over the course of months.
