I’m ready to follow the book and “buy the damn shoes “ but don’t really know which would be the best option. Size 12 , kinda wide ish in the front with a medium arch. Any suggestions?

I typed 'shoes' in the search function. Only two posts, for this very thread, come up.

I think they (the old <Training> threads) might've deleted with the re-organization of the boards.

Not sure how you're managing that, Fulcrum. I get pages and pages and a note that there are ~8,300 results.

Again, as posted in the announcement, nothing was deleted.

Ah, I see that the fix on the "search" at the forum level (eg if you are looking at the list of threads in this forum) is not inherited within the threads. I'll stomp on it and make it so that that option goes to the google-based search too.

If you have the money buy the nobull lifting shoes. Leather sole, fantastic grip at the sole, leather top and solid AF. Rip might hate the colour schemes but they are a great shoe.

On the lower price end of the spectrum, Do-wins tend to work well with wider feet. I have decent experience with the Adidas Powerlifts 3 even though I also have marginally wider feet, though I can definitely tell they aren't made for wide feet. They did just launched the Powerlift 4 and don't know if the width is the same.

    here's a new shoe.

    R1 GRAYSKULL PRE-SALE - Position USA

A rare find with only a 1/2" effective heel height.
    Wood heel.
    Beefy metatarsal strap.
    Fairly cheap (relatively?).
