Default Asymmetric Tightness / Soreness With Deadlift

I'm an intermediate lifter, 51 years old, who's been lifting semi-seriously for the last 5+ years. For the last few years, whenever I deadlift (trap bar) I feel tightness & soreness only on my left side, which seems to start in the QL / Oblique area and go down into the left glute medius / minimus. This persists after I lift, leaving me sore on that side for several days after. It's not what I'd call painful, and certainly not debilitating - more like "very uncomfortable".

I've had in-person form checks from several trainers I trust, and they've told me that everything I'm doing looks solid. I'm wondering if there might be some asymmetry that can't be seen that could be causing this. Any suggestions on how I might be able to check for imbalance issues as well as any corrective lifts / exercises? Thanks!

Barbell deadlifts would be my recommendation.
