Hello, my grandma suffers from occasional bouts of vertigo. We can't really pin down a pattern for the episodes, except that stress and change of seasons may increase the likelihood of it acting up. If she catches it right away and takes meclizine, it seems to ward off the worst of it.

I've read that the Epley Maneuver can help, although when she's dealing with vertigo, moving her head exacerbates the dizziness and she just wants to stay still. For this reason, I would want a professional to teach her the process. It may be uncomfortable for her and I'm afraid of making things worse.

Are there any other methods of treatment?

Thank you. I appreciate any relevant information you can provide.
