I’m having to take short 5 day courses of Pred 40mg/day to prevent issues with post nasal drip. I’m taking those doses every 4/5 weeks. I haven’t received any advice to taper. Last week my back began hurting the day after a training session. I didn’t experience any pain during the session. The weights were reasonably light as I was on a recovery session after the previous weeks 1 RM max out. I’m thinking that I introduced a degree of inflammation into my back during the time when I had just come off the Prednisone and effectively my capacity to deal with inflammation was retarded ?

I was wondering if anyone had experience of tapering off prednisone and how to slot in training ?
