This is not what I said at all. I can't tell you what will work for you, I am not coaching you. This is a general advice forum, with sometimes specific recommendations. Both Wolf and I have *repeatedly* given you our opinions as to what is wrong, and you have argued all the way. Additionally, there are *specific* instructions for how to structure a pressing program for a master's lifter with a weak press in Barbell Prescription, yet you have apparently not read it.
Pick an intermediate program for your press. Do it. If it's not working after 6-8 weeks, try something different. Same thing goes for all your other lifts as you run out your NLP. IF you are insistent on continuing to attempt to push a NLP for you press, fine, we have suggested areas that *may* be deficiencies in your assessment. Some of them several times. The various programs account for these things by changing the timing and application of stress and the amount of time allowed for recovery / adaptation.
You need to understand the stress / recovery / adaptation process. In this process, if you are not making progress, there is a limited number of things that can be wrong. You are either applying an insufficient stress to drive an adaptation, allowing an inadequate time for recovery (either inter-set rest, or timing between bouts of training), or not fueling recovery adequately (not eating enough or appropriately), or applying too much stress to fully recover from and show adaptation to in time for the next workout (overreaching).
