Hello again strong and capable community.

    So my Dad, who is
    60 years old
    165lbs
    5'11"-6'
    No known CVD
Been active all his life, more in the endurance realm of things.
I have been training him to best of my abilities and got his lifts to
    Squat 185x3, Press 95x5, Bench 135x3, Deadlift 290x3.
Has experienced some light headed-ness intra-workout on his deadlifts.
He says he can not fully catch his breath in between sets and even post workout remained a little light headed for about 30 min.
Still had an elevated pulse as well up to 30-45 minutes post training.

I have just recently fixed his deadlift for to be closer to the SS model, i.e. getting bar started over mid foot, setting a fixed eye gaze/keeping cervical neutral, and closer stance/toes out pushing into elbows.
Was wondering anyone's thoughts on this whether it is due to just a different more correct positioning coupled with the valsalva or something else?

    Thanks, Nathan

Did the weight he was using continue to go up? Also, does he have low blood pressure?
