    Solid couple workouts lately, I really miss my old gym though with the bumpers and CHALK. I wrap the bar in paper towel for most of my lifts but its just not the same, and im getting extremely sick of the gym going clientele here in Hamilton Ontario.

    Weight 226 ---> 227 23 hard ass pounds to go.

    225x3-3-3-3-3-3 Nailing my form down on these speed days

    Deadlifts

    435x5 (PR) One of the "trainers" at the gym came over to inform me that I set the barbell down too hard on the last rep, maybe it was the fact that there was 435 fucking pounds in my hands with no chalk. Then he goes on to say that they dont even really allow deadlifts anymore because there is a crack on the floor on the opposite side of the gym. FUCK PREMIER FITNESS

    240x5-5-5-5-5 (pr) FINALLY broke through this plateau, had some shady spotters touching the bar on the 3rd set but I nailed it out on the 4th and 5th.

    Dynamic Press
    The rack was broken so i just pumped off some light weight shoulder presses on the smith machine, gay i know.

    Ive got alot of bad news and some great news

    First up I reallllly fucked up my training this week. Last monday night a friend and I decided to make a impromptu trip to miami beach, I had an amazing time but I probobly consumed less then 5000 calories for the 3 days combined and mostly in mixed drinks. I got back in Canada on friday feeling like a zombie so I ate as many big macs as I could and went to bed. After 14 hours sleep I woke up this morning and tried to salvage the weeks worth of training I skipped.
    Here comes the good news:

    Squat
    305x5-5-5
    Still working my way back up from the reset, these feel good

    Press
    145x6-6-6
    Not nearly as easy as they should be considering i was blasting 155 for straight sets a couple weeks ago

    Deadlift
    445x5 (PR and 2 bleeding shins)
    I dont understand this at all, Agaisnt all common sense I threw another 10 lbs on from last week were I was properly nourished and rested yet I beasted it up again. I love deadlifting.

    Alright so Miami and my summer leave finally caught up to me. Ive felt like shit for the past four days and the weight isnt moving like id like.

    Benchpress

    225x6-5-5

    225 felt so heavy in the warmups I decided to stick with it since there was no one around to spot. Im planning on entering a base wide powerlifting comp in November so I thought Id try out pause benching. I was able to do a good 2 second pause at the bottem for the first 3 reps of each set then i pretty much bounced the last two so i wouldnt bail the bar out on my rib cage.

    Dynamic Press

    115x3-3-3-3-3-3
    Had to clean the bar off the ground each rep, felt bad taking the squat rack for 115

    Weighted Chins

    70x5-5-4(+5 BW)

    My elbows were killing me so I threw some pushups in instead of closegrip bench.

    25-25

    Im not sure if the scale I used today was accurate but
    226--->228
    Will recheck my weight tomorrow on a legitimate scale.

    my old nagging elbow from 3 months ago is sneaking back, I have to make sure to warm my shoulders up properly before squating. last couple sets were grinders, not impressed.

    Power clean
    195x3-3-3-3-3-3
    Squat clean
    145x3-3-3

    Im really happy with the power cleans, Last time I did them my wrist was acting up and my form seemed off, not the case today. I felt I easily could have went 20-30 lbs heavier. I saw someone doing squat cleans so i wanted to try that out at the end.

    Reverse hypersx12-12-12

    I super setted these to get the hell out of the gym, realized id been there for over 2 hours.

    Double checked my weight on the good scale and i am indeed 228

    22 lbs to go!!

    Between softball and golf my elbow is pooched. I knew i was pressing today so I started banging ibuprofin and caking my arms in A535. made it threw the workout however my fingers are tingling and going numb now.

    These were harder then they should have been, Im more then alittle worried about 155 next week.

    Too slow, I will remain on this weight until it speeds up. Im blaming it on elbow pain.

    STILL ROCKIN! I feel like a gorilla flying up and down.
