    squat: 220x3x5
press: 125x3x5 all sets seemed heavy, last set was tough, probably go down to 2.5 increments now for the press
power clean: 120x1x2 tweaked my left wrist
    115x1x2 left wrist painful
I'm sure my power clean form is pretty bad. Probably hurt my wrist from muscling the weight to the rack position rather than letting the upward motion of the bar get it there. Guess I'll go back to lighter weights and work more on form and flexibility of my wrists.

Nice continued progress. Do you have access to a video cam to record your powercleans?

thanks. I'll see if I can get something figured out for recording power cleans. I'm going to try doing some stretches and widening the grip also.

    9/20/2010
    squat: 225x3x5
    bench press: 160x3x5
    deadlift: 205x1x5

    9/22/2010
squat: 230x3x5 fatigued; slow bar speed on last set
    press: 127.5x3x5
power clean: widened grip; was able to rack better at low warmup weights
    105x1x3 movement doesn't seem right
i think i'll try learning to do a power snatch and see if that's any better

    9/24/2010
squat: 235x3x5 speed seemed good; felt energized
bench press: 165x3x5 bar speed a little slow on last set
    deadlift: 215x1x5

    weight this morning: 327

Need to really work on my diet. Trying to eat more paleo like. I'd like to drop about 30 pounds of fat by the end of 2010.

How much and what kind of carbs are you eating?

Keep in mind you've added a lot to your lifts so you've put on muscle. Certainly more than 4#'s worth so I expect you've recomped your body some as well.

    starting strength coach development program
    geoff,

Thanks for the encouragement. I've fallen off the wagon with my diet over the last couple weeks. I'm going to reset, start journaling my food intake, and start trying to eat the way I know I should. I need to bring some discipline to my diet and start taking control of it. I've been dieting without any planning or tracking. SS is showing me that you need to plan and track to see results.
