By the time I hit the workset I realized that I should be doing these with a Supine grip...doh! Made it feel much better. Something I missed the last time I did them.

I've been slacking with pullups lately. I've never been close to being able to do a set of ten, the closest being 7 true dead hang pullups at my lightest and the closest alternative being jumping negatives which I've been doing for years. I'll get back to it. I don't know if Pendlays will help but I can hope. I'll give it another week or so.

What a week! I've taken a bunch of video but I'll get familiar with editing before I put it up on technique.

I got to lift in Wichita Falls and it was awesome. I was so stoked to be there rather than Gold's in Dallas which was my alternative.

75x5x3,2 (push pressed the last rep of the last two sets) These were far too hard. I will take all of the feedback I got on this forum and delve into the book more trying to solve this fucking lift. It feels pretty good on the descent of heavier split jerks (not the same thing I know, but about the only way I have any kind of fun or progress with a similar movement.) . I'll have video of this when I've got a better attempt.

120x5x3 I was really surprised that I managed this. I did bridge on most reps and by watching video I learned that my grip is probably too wide and bar path is...off. Stuff to work on yay!

200x5x3! This might be a PR for a complete work set. Shit's getting heavy now! Time to study up! Here's video of the last set, untrimmed, my apologies...

Ok, so I got lax after my 200 win and took 5 days off. I tried to pick up right where I left off and, it sorta worked but today I experienced the first true fails (or bails) that I utilized the safety catches for the first time in a while...twice. This is only a two day dump, I'm trying to figure out going forward or going back or switching to Texas method. I kinda screwed myself even if only mentally...shit

205x4,4,3,2,2 - The last rep of the first three sets felt like all I had. The very last rep of the whole sequence was pretty brutal even though it was just a double.

125x5x3 Whaaaat, ok I admit I bridged the shit out of pretty much every rep here, significantly reducing rom. Reset or change program?

This was too hard, or maybe I'm fucking stupidly stubborn thinking I could pull that one off.

Adjusted stance to a narrower duck foot and it felt pretty fucking good. I also got gently yelled at about dropping weights but not until I'd finished ha. Then I was informed about a mysterious downstairs room that's "not that pretty" but full of bumpers and not directly above a prenatal yoga class... or something.

I feel like I didn't technically cap out my linear progress by shooting myself in the foot with a 5 day break. So...I'm inclined to reset, again, keep at it and stay consistent until I really do find it. Maybe it's just time to fucking do texas method or something but,.. shit. I'm pissed at myself. Fucking typical hambulance.
