    squat 275x5x3
    chins 22

Took it easy on squat because of the back tweak. No issues. Will probably start benching soon; Ratner has benches for each of its 8 power racks, so even during busy hours you can find one.

    bench 185x5x3
    pc 185x3x3
    deadlift 315x5

Surprised with bench. Bar was super spinny too, which made it tougher. Power cleans alternated between fine and ugly. Deadlift was with belt. Just testing the waters after the injury. Went fine.

    squat 175 (5/4); 135x5
    bench 135x5x3
    RDL 45x10x2
    chins 3/2/1

First workout in the Kelly House Athletic Club, New Haven, CT. It's been over four months since I last lifted. No shoes, no belt, on carpet. Bad idea to jump up to 175. Weight itself was easy, but tweaked something on 4th rep of second set. Doesn't seem too bad, but I'm guessing it'll be pretty tight for a couple days. Need to wear shoes and belt from now on. Can't really do anything about the carpet. It's not plush or padded. Chinup bar is slightly fatter than I'm used to, so my grip will have to adapt.

    sunday:

    rdl 45x10x2

    today (monday):

    bench 145x5x3
    chins 4/3/2
    RDL 95x10x3

Would have squatted but rehabbing the back tweak with RDLs. It was doing a lot better Sunday and better still today. Nothing of concern, but will probably take it easy Wednesday deadlifting, and come in cautiously Friday with squatting. Did a set of chins this morning and got 4 good reps, so that's good. Not bad for 4 months off and my fat ass (~255 lbs). I will say this: having a squat rack at home is a game changer. Can't believe I waited this long.

    press 115x5x3
    deadlift 225x5
    chins 3.5

Keeping things very light. Back is feeling much better. Should be able to squat at full strength Friday.
