Volume day - didn't sleep to well.

    400m treadmill 15.5 km/h

    Warm up sets on all.

5x5 squat 138 kg - 5x5 PR could feel a slight apprehension following dropping the bar last ID. But went well if quite hard on the 5th set.
5x5 press 75.4 kg 5x5 PR boy was that a grind on the last set, but finally got it.
1x5 deadlift 170 kg, no problem lifting the weight, but my back was hammered, I'm not feeling like Texas method will yield High deadlift numbers on volume day. For me anyway.

Tried sumo stance for 1x170 deadlift, and that part has shot up for me it seems, used to max out around 160 kg fresh on sumo, this one following the entire volume day, was really easy. I assume due to my much better squat.

    Low day

    400m treadmill 15.5 km/h

    warm up sets on all.

Squat 2x5 115 kg, no problem.
Bench 3x5 100 kg, no problem.
dips 10x5 - I've begun doing my pull ups on tuesday

Deadlift technique with 100 kilo, still improving my setup.

Dawned on me, I've never filmed my bench, so did a video of the last set out of 3.

Sorry about the slightly short shirt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p1RG...ature=youtu.be

    ID

    400m treadmill 15 km/h

    warm up sets on all.

Squat 3 reps 155.5 kg, the one that pinned me lasy friday. Didn't feel heavy today - but made it a 3rm, and will go for 5 reps next friday. A 3 rep PR, and great to get it done, last friday's failure had really nagged me...

Press 2 reps with 87.5kg, both a 1 rep and 2 rep PR. Jumping around - My press just keeps going up.

Deadlift 5 reps 160 kg - what a change compared to volume day, had zero problems with my back.

    Good day.

Those are very nice PRs. Those big wheels up in the lights are pretty cool, nice pic.

    Volume Day

First VD without heavy DLs at the end.

Junior continues his new hobby of late to bed up early. I was pretty beat when I got to the gym at 9:30 am.

    400m treadmill 15.5 km/h

    Warm up sets on all

Squat 140.4 kg 5x5 I never thought I'd have a volume day with 3 plates (20 kg) - But here we are - New 5x5 PR - And I'm happy. Had my first 1x5 with this weight in november. That's progress I guess.

Bench 106 kg 5x5 - bit of a grind on the very last rep, but both my press and bench press keep rising and rising - New 5x5 PR

DL - some speed pulls with 93 kg - My father's 1x5 for the day, so just jumped in.

    Good day.
