    I did 250-280 last week, so 255-290 seemed ok. I failed it just off the floor, could feel my back caving, so let go. At least, it wasn't glued to the floor.

    Back offs are because, I'm pissed at that time. I rip off a plate and do whatever's left... : )

    Fair enough. 30-35kg jump isn't huge either. I am surprised that a) You didn't keep on tugging on the damn thing and b) that you didn't Fred-rage-attempt it again. I think it shows maturity - or maybe you were just not quite yourself

    I think my mind was set on it being an all or nothing attempt. Since I already had the 280, anything more would have been a bonus - but not essential. That being said, had it gone above my knees, I would still be grinding...

    Some times you just have to clock in. I'm sure it was a longish session anyhow. Getting new facilities and keeping the company moving is, in the bigger picture, infinitely more important than a set of squats.
