Squats were ok, bit wobbly.
1st set of press was awfull! Wrist angle was weak, no power. 2nd set i was better set up and more aggresive. 3rd set good. Il get 1 set of 5 next time im sure!
Deadlift was good. Not strong but my form was good. Improvement in upper back tightness from the squat is following through well. Repeat weight next time.

So a good test and im back to pr level more or less after a forced break due to unforseen circumstances.
December was a complete write off and first half of January too. Ive been at it since then but thought no point logging another repeat journey to near pr level.
Very much looking forward to some new strength and pr's.
So my test day: went very well, so happy to hit a 3 plate squat finally. Hitting 3 plate for sets of 5 is my big aim for squat and my hip maintenance. To note also, my hip is doing very well the last 6 months. I will be attempting conditioning in the next few weeks.
Press was a great grind, knew id be right on the edge to get it.
Squat was great for me! Felt strong.
Bench was ok. Ive been nursing a minor twinge from a wobbly last rep that impinged me a bit a forthnight ago.
Its ok though, will heal ok with work.
Deadlift has improved and im happy. Ive changed my supinate hand.
So thats it! Back at it.

Phew volume aint easy!
Good squat. Out of breath too much though, maybe increase rest times.
Bench ok. Shoulder improved again. Ive adjusted my grip slightly to keep my elbows in.

Had a stomach bug at the weekend and alot of getting sick.
Tweaked my lower back at rep 2 on the 2nd set so i stopped there. Simple, i didnt set my back tight and it rounded hitting the hole. A minor tweak im hoping. The constant wretching is to be noted also.
Bench was ok, im happy with that for now.

Crap, i didnt think it was 9 days between sessions!
Had another tonsilitus week and my daughter had a virus. It worked out ok though, my back made the most of the time and has recovered well from the minor tweak. Not perfect but worked!
Squat started horrible. Couldnt get my back set right. Racked it after 1 instead of blundering on and risking my back. Got my head around it and got my volume in.
Press was ok. 2nd set was easily the best, good balance of aggression with strong form.
It was near 12am so i saved the neighbours hearing me deadlift, il push it on to my intensity squat day.

Squat was reasonable. Il have to work out my back management for heavy squat the next day.
Very happy with the bench. Made the reps with the increase even though it has been too long between bench sessions.

Thanks Derf.
PR is at 253 and i would say im a bit short of there now.
Im ten weeks from a test day with a friend of mine and im hoping il blow past that.
Im in a position now to be more consistent and im excited about the possibility of progress.
