    Thanks Caveman! I failed 2 attempts at 308 deadlift. Breaking from the ground is very hard and my limiting factor for sure.
    Did you watch the squat by any chance?


    Oh and bodyweight on test day was 190.3lbs.

    Thats great, thanks.

    I was anxious about putting them up. Ive never uploaded anything to youtube before.
    I know for the squat it says that it may not be viewed in some countries because there is music in the background.

    Yeah, I've gotten a nasty warning once or twice because I had some music playing in the background. Usually for me anyway, my phone doesn't do that good of a job picking up the music, so I don't worry about it.

    Move to Intermediate type programming.

    Squat 198 x 5/5/5/5/5
    PC 88 X 3/3/3/3

    Im very happy i got this session done. My back is ok after last weeks tweak. I can only feel the smallest bit of pain and its nothing that would worry you and im so happy with that. A week off and a new beginning with switching up my programming.

    My plan is to do a 4 day split style intermediate Texas Method but ill be doing it 1 on 1 off as opposed to 2 on 1 off. I feel this will suit my time best.

    So the session: squats were good. Even though it got tougher through the sets my grove and form improved i think. Interesting to see how i progress.
    PC was not so good! Crap form. Didnt realy know what i was at though to be fair it would be a year since i tried these and i was only starting to learn them that time too.

    Didnt get as much done this week as I would have liked.
    Good squat, happy.
    Deadlift was ok, grip was a bit weak.

    No training in a week so ive just started back at my first 5x5 session.
    Training will be messy for a few weeks with impending baby! Thats ok.

    Good session. I liked my squat form today. Much better back and the squats felt good.
    Im going to leave the pc until im happier with my deadlift. Going to RDL for assistance. Not easy!
    My grip was failing big time.Enjoyable exercise though and nice to do something a bit different.

    Ok session. Bench felt good and i enjoy the volume.
    Finaly got a dip setup! Its tough. Grips are very thick and it may be too far apart? Il train on anyways, cant do any harm!

    Deadlift 264 x 5

    Squat wasnt as good as last week. Got it done though. Stupid cold weather has my hip in a bit of bother.
    Deadlift was good. Had a bit of power off the ground. Im working on trying to be a bit more active at lift off. Take breath, try straighten legs a little then back to bar and pull! Went well. If i can get more comfortable doing this il be better come a max lift. Thats what i feel anyways.
