    This last month before the fall classic is always a bit different. I don't remember the exact pattern but I will be backing off a bit as October 28 approaches. I really do enjoy competition. Maybe that's why I'm running for city council.

    A 305 deadlift in your back-off week? I remember you setting a 315 PR in a meet not too long ago. You're making good progress.

    I'm afraid that 315 was set over 3 years ago. Progress has been painfully slow since. I'm at 340 for a single at present and hope for 350 or 360 at the fall festival. Still, thanks for your kind words.
