I'm officially not 30 anymore. I used to be able to drive myself. I could read 2 to 3 books a day and take a full load of classes. I was exhausted today. I worked Wed. and Thursday evenings helping to raise money for the oldest house in the city. Then I didn't sleep well either night. It's a good thing that this was back off week.

    Squat: 70 x 5; 120 x 3; 160 x 1; 180 x 1; 195 x 1; 185 x 2; 175 x 3
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 120 x 1; 132.5 x 1; 125 x 2; 117.5 x 3
HIIT: Prowler at 50 lbs extra, 200 x 5. HR 156 I must be getting used to it.

Nice work, Emperor! You're a deadlifting machine, soon to be a political machine!

If the councilman wants to get less clumsy, he could join you at the gym.

    "Dan Lauffer, deadlifting for You!"

(I'm Dan Lauffer, and i approve this message.)

((Are you running as "Dan" or as "Carson?"))

I'm using my ordained title with Dan. So I'm running as Pastor Dan Lauffer. The combination is a bit confusing but I hold my ordination as legitimate even though I'm Catholic and can't do much with it.

The Councilman had a stroke some time ago, but as everyone can see that didn't cause him to step on my sign.

and 'step' he clearly did, not 'stumble' as he claimed as a snake-oil politician

The two goofs in the photo have been in political leadership in this small city for 35-40 years. The reasons I'm running are 1. I'm bored. 2. I hate the level of incompetence in this city. A slug could do a better job. (I guess that doesn't say much about why I'm running.) Maybe I really should write a book.

For your next campaign ad put up the video of your 315 pull and say "Vote for Pastor Dan: Only he can deadlift the dead wood out of Walled Lake"
