Though I've posted there recently nothing has appeared there for over a month. Has it shut down?

Jordan's busy working on his book. I'll try to find the post where he talks about it.

Ok, I missed that. Good for him.

Perhaps someone knows the answer to my question other than Jordan. I'm participating in my first competition, maybe my only, this Saturday. When I ran 25 years ago or so Carbo loading was prescribed. Is it also prescribed for lifting competitions? If so, what risks might I run since I'm trying to keep my Type 2 diabetes under control?

Just eat normally IMO. Changing things on meet day can be bad news.

Carb loading is more important for endurance sports. You do need carbs for energy to lift, but don't eat more than is healthy for your diabetes. Make sure to have enough food at the meet, including carbs.

Well I thought he was working on the ebook too but actually he was having a total knockdown dragout brawl with a biochemistry professor on my thread in the Q&A, lol...
