    Workout B (24th September 2014)

    Deadlift
    1 x 5 x 157.5kg (347lbs)

    Press
    3 x 5 x 62kg (136lbs)

    Chinups
    BW x 16
    BW x 5
    BW x 5

    Hanging Leg Raises
    BW x 32
    BW x 11
    BW x 13

Deadlifts felt okay. Last rep was a bit grindy but it wasn't painfully slow. I might increase by 2.5kg for next week just to err on the safe side. My PR is 162.5kgx5 so that would take me there in two weeks time.

Press felt a hell of a lot better than last time I attempted the same weight.

    Workout A (26th September 2014)

    Squat
    3 x 5 x 130kg (286lbs)

    Bench Press
    2 x 5 x 86kg (189lbs)
    1 x 6 x 86kg (189lbs) [PR]

    Ez Bar Curls
    1 x 10 x 40kg (90lbs)
    1 x 8 x 40kg (90lbs)
    1 x 7 x 40kg (90lbs)
    1 x 5 x 37.5kg (85lbs)

    Hanging Leg Raises
    BW x 31
    BW x 20
    BW x 20

Had better sessions. Mind was a bit off today but got the job done.

Squats were good apart from the second set where I was all over the shop. I redeemed myself with good form on the last set though.

Bench was alright. I would've liked more reps on the last set but I'll take it.

I also need to eat slightly more. I was being an idiot and haven't been eating as much as of late and gym performance and strength haven't been as good as they should be.

Thanks for reminding me I need to go eat lunch #2, haha! I'm glad to see you are in PR territory again after your time off.

    Workout B (29th September

    Squat
    2 x 5 x 132.5kg (292lbs)
    1 x 1 x 132.5kg (292lbs)

    Press
    3 x 5 x 63kg (139lbs)

    Chinups
    3 x 5 x BW + 5kg (11lbs)

Squats were disappointing. I f!cked it up on the last set somehow. I'll redo on Friday and I should be able to get 3 sets of 5 then. It did feel very heavy though but manageable providing I keep tightness and push up like f!ck.

Press wasn't too bad. I'll be attempting a new PR on Friday pressing 64kg so that's something to look forward to.

Still need to eat more. Food food food and these squats will soar to three plates in no time

Man the gainz are coming back. Seems we might hit intermediate programming around the same time.

Long may the gainz continue. Yeah, I've already got a HLM setup approved by Andy Baker so I'll be using that to cut some weight before hopping on TM.

Just saw your HLM thread with Andy. That's some good info. I'm also thinking of trying TM for the first time after things stall out. I feel like I'm on the verge of a reset, but it's only my first, so I probably have another month or two of LP left to go (my squat is decent but my deadlift sucks). Taking a break to trim down a bit before heading forward sounds like it could be a good idea, though. You going to do a surplus again on TM or take more of a maintenance approach?

    Workout A (1st October 2014)

    Deadlift
    1 x 2+1 x 160kg (353lbs)

    Bench Press
    3 x 5 x 88kg (194lbs) [PR]

    Chinups
    BW x 18
    BW x 6
    BW x 3

Deadlift was a disaster as there wasn't any chalk in the gym. I tried using straps when I went back for the third rep and got another rep but hadn't tied them correctly so failed again. I never use straps so wasn't used to them. F!ck sake! I know I can deadlift this weight.

Quite happy with getting a PR on bench. Getting to a fairly respectable weight now. Kind of grindy reps on the last rep of each set.
