Good to be back training after a couple of days off due to spending Christmas with family down in England. The extra rest must have done my squats a favour as I lifted more weight than I planned today. I calculated I was to lift 140kg x 4 @ RPE 9 but ended up squatting 145kg as 140 was too light to meet my RPE goal

Deadlifts were great today. I could've pulled 165kg for possibly another 2 reps. The only thing is I was properly f*cked after deads so was suffering the rest of the workout.
I had to use another gym tonight and the squat racks didn't have mirrors so pressing was awkward. I was meant to press 66.5kg for 3x4 @ RPE 9 but panned the idea and done some seated presses instead. I don't usually do them so they were a bit all over the shop. I would've thought I could've db pressed more considering how much I press but maybe my delts and triceps are still recovering from Mondays bench session?
Paused squats are deadly. That is all.

My usual gym was closed today so yet again had to trek to another gym. The gym was pretty well equipped with three squat racks and dumbbells going up to 70kg.
I didn't have a belt to squat with so had to do them without one. My usual gym has belts available so I never usually have to worry about taking a belt. I'm counting 145kgx4 as a BELTLESS squat PR.
I should've rested longer before the last set of bench to get a RPE 9.

Long arsed session but a good session at that! Hit a new PR on squats and my bodyweight is still slowly going down. I actually planned going for 150kgx3 but judging by 145kgx3 I made the decision to go for 147.5kg instead.
Holy bench volume! It took ages but got it done along with some GPP in the form of chins. I'll get my cardio and abs done tomorrow night.
