I was unusually hungry today. I could have eaten more than my set macros.

I was in and out the gym in 20 mins max. The rest between sets was minimal as it's pretty lightweight.

Roll on intensity day where I'll sure as Fcuk be making a PR.

Back to my prime with this session.

Heavy squats were the best they've ever felt in a long time. My form was spot on and I felt confident going into it.

Bench was good too. I've ditched the skull rushers on Monday as they were negatively affecting my pressing movements on ID. I'll just do some curls from now on.

I wanted 3 reps on my pull but only had 2 so waited a while and pulled a single as I'm a stubborn basard. It feels like my deadlift goes up and down every week depending on my recovery. Hmm.

Carbs +25g and fat +5g on all days

    Now macros:
    5x week 240/370/76
    2x week 220/520/81

Still eating like a girl but calories are getting up there now.

Congrats on the PR. Are you going for more weight or more reps next week?

Cheers BC! It's been a long time since I've PRed on the squat or anything else for that matter. I'm going to increase the weight by 2.5kg and go for 2x3 again.

    Not a bad session.

I took 5 mins rest in between squats and presses so clearly the weight isn't that heavy for me. I will probably increase volume weight for squats next week and hold it for three weeks again.

In bed now and my beef and ale stew is slow cooking overnight for me. Preparation is key with this lifting business

Recovering well for ID. Aiming for a new PR on squats this Friday (152.5kgx2x3). Press won't be a PR (66kgx5) but I suppose I could class it as a PR as I'm at a much lighter bodyweight now.

Nice session apart from deadlift. I'm finding deadlifts take the back seat on TM as squats take priority though so it's probably not unusual to experience this.

Still...another squat PR! The road to squatting 180kg for reps is well under way. My form was spot on I felt too and depth was well below parallel (as pointed out by someone mirin on my second set).

Press was not bad. The second set was a total grind to get the last rep though.

Deadlift was just ****e. I couldn't get the bar off the ground for my heavy set of 167.5kg. My back just felt done in from squatting before. It's no biggie as it's a recovery issue not a strength issue and I know I could deadlift that weight on a good day.
