    Tonight is 305x5 squat attempt, which you're way ahead with 3x5 programming.

    Hard fail to the pins on rep 5. Just couldn't quite get out of the hole. Regardless it felt exhilarating for some reason. My vision got blurry with bloodshot eyes for a few minutes afterwards.

    Bench went rapid fire set of 5.
    Press began as rapid fire with very little pause for breath. Last rep was a grind but locked it out.
    I guess volume day was done right.

    Eating is done right too, post dinner, post protein shake, post workout weight was 220. PR. Gonna keep bulking until ?huge gains wane? then I'll do a cut. Maybe. Need to squat beyond 315 first, maybe even 365.

    2 scoops of whey concentrate at breakfast, a whole cup of whey isolate after lunch, and 2 scoops concentrate at workout. Kind of a lot, but I'm at PR levels on all 4 lifts.

    Very minor twinge lower right spine near the sacrum. Noticed it when changing weights.

    Dropping down to triples for as long as possible, then singles, once I learn my maxes in those rep ranges I'll do rotating rep ranges weekly 5's, 3's, 1's and add 5lbs every 3 weeks. I think the 5lb weekly gains are mostly done.

    I quit after 3 reps, set the clock for set 2 and decided to scrap it.
    Deads were yesterday instead of the day before, so felt tired, also got off work 2 hrs later due to workload which is sucking through November.
    Plus I did 305x3x2 on Saturday.
    Plus my face and head felt like they were gonna pop by rep 3, last week on rep 4, I popped blood vessels in my right eye, which still has a red spot.

    Maybe this volume day I'll do 90% of 305 (275) for 3-5 sets.

    Set 2 rep 3 was a slow one. Not a super grind, but just slow.


    I missed 3 sessions this week; press/bench intensity, squat volume, and press/bench volume. Wednesday I'll resume with squat intensity.

    Oh baby that was a grind at rep 5. All I was thinking was, "it'll make a good video whatever happens," as the reps got harder. Luckily it didn't turn into an episode of Jackass. 5 reps or bust.
    I'll try to hit enough volume Saturday to hit 305x5 next week.
