For pete's sake Carson, I just sent your video to a buddy of mine, we're still both struggling with those weights. 315 feels like it'll break me in two.

    FR 2014-10-31

    Squat 246.25x5x3
    Press 105x5x3
    Deadlift 325x5

Felt good on everything except the last deadlift rep.
I had to hitch that baby to lock it out, so next time we go back to 325 again.

I've gotten used to the idea that no matter how strong I get, I'm going to load up the barbell until it makes me feel like a weakling.
If I don't feel like a weakling I simply have not used enough weight.
Just keep loading that bar until it almost kicks your ass every time.
And if it does kick your ass, demand a rematch.

The squat may be the king of the barbell exercises, but the deadlift is the ultimate beast.

I completely agree. I'm finally enjoying the Squat but I love the DL even though for the present it is kicking my behind.

    Squat 247.5x5x3
    Bench 145x5x3
    Chins 3,3,2

Squat; Linear progress continues at 1.25 lbs per session.

Bench; Catching up to myself 5 lbs at a time. Last reset was probably excessive/unnecessary. Will continue 5 lb jumps until it's tough, then micro-load.

    Chins; using this progression;
    2,2,2
    3,2,2
    3,3,2
    3,3,3
    4,3,3
    etcetera.

    Slow and steady.

Yeah, there was a time when I felt like the squats were beating me up. Now I feel like I'm beating them up. That very last rep goes up a little slower, but it's not a grinder, enjoying them at this pace and still setting PR's.

Keep at it and you'll be the strongest you've ever been in your life. I am. Now I just want to see how far I can take this machine called the human body.
