    Squat 240x5x3
    Press 110x4,3,3
    Deadlift 315x5

    Squat
Felt easy enough. I think i lose depth if I lean to far forward, and have a lot of body mass behind the bar, as opposed to I guess getting my knees a little forwards. There's a compromise somewhere in there.

    Press
Overshot going to 110 lbs, 105 was my last 3x5. Should microload maybe by 1 lb increments. Might do press every workout.

    Deadlift
4 days off, I figure it was time to deadlift. Slight back rounding, need to focus on that more. Also, last two reps were a little jerky at the top. Didn't hitch to my thighs, but did a couple of quick shrugs to stand up fully straight.

Not enough time to complete deadlifts. Damn work.

Reset on presses. Might go up in 1/2 lb increments.

Overnight job threw my schedule around. I slept a lot and did not lift. Recovery time is nice. But so is making rapid gains. If I can keep from slipping back, I'll be satisfied, for now.

The Dan Miller microplates are awesome. The 2" washers from Mcmaster need a new home. If someone going to the October Ironfest in Queens wants them, they're yours, just let me know. 6 washers about .625 lbs each. Which means you can add 1.25lbs, 2.5lbs, 3.75lbs to the bar, which divides the 5lbs jump you get with 2.5lbs plates into 4 smaller steps.

With 10 days since my last session (due to work schedule)I dialed the squat and deadlift back. I'll probably take 10 lb jumps up to my previous weights.
Then I'll either microload or continue big jumps for a session..

Ever lose count when lifting? I'm not sure if I did 4 or 5 deadlifts. Pretty sure it was 5. If not no matter.

The slow climb out of lame weight numbers continues.
I want to put my best foot forwards at October Iron Fest, so doing only presses, and no benching.
Benching is sort of a weird movement, with less real world parallels compared to the press. Maybe I'll squeeze more gains from the press, by skipping the bench.
Went light on the chins, to manage recovery better.
I'm trying to figure out if I'm not recovered, or simply lazy, without taking it to overtraining.

    Uneventful.
Video playback shows I could stand to flatten the lower back some more on deadlifts.

Did you post your DL video on the technique section or are you referring to what you alone reviewed. BTW I don't think your weights are lame. Just keep at it. I must admit I'm struggling with some envy over your upcoming visit to Iron Fest. I hope it does well and I'm able to attend next year. Make sure and make a report about your experience there.

    Thanks Carson.
I didn't post, because I wear dark colors and have not the best lighting, and don't want to annoy the coaches with that.
Maybe I'll start linking them here.

I call my lifts lame, but I am stronger than I've ever been. But relative to where I hope I'm going, I'll call it lame.

As one poster put it; we lift the quantity known as "more," so inherently we can't be satisfied, and strive to always increase the weight. But actually I'm happy with my lifts compared to what I used to do, it's almost ridiculous how much stronger I got in 6 months, compared to the decades of exercising before.

Great idea about the report for Iron Fest. I'll keep it in mind and definitely post a report.

I hope it succeeds, and that you make it next year.

All went well except deadlift. Failed at the 4th rep. Had a lot of water in my belly, (sipping throughout the session), and could not take a deep breath at the bottom.
I rested after my 3 reps and tried for 2 more after taking the belt off.
I think I'm just going to do deadlifts beltless, I really don't feel the benefit.
