Maybe not recovered from last weeks intensive curling, been cutting bodyweight almost 5kg since januari, that could also be a part of the problem.

DL was heavy, I missed first try, made it the second, was surprised how stuborn the weight felt.
The squat felt great, it usually does. I raised it one kg. Burger as usual.

Decided to do more of the basic lifts always with a intensity fokus. And do fives as a Backoff. It seems like I always lose my strength when I omit those heavy doubles and singles. And I also lost some of my lifting spirit, so I just hang in there so I wont lose my strength.

New bench/press program with just the basic, try to use the onerep calculator after I established a one rep max.
So I go 1,3, 3x5 reps and maybe a Backoff set around 7-8 reps.
No more assistant work until summer vacation or when I go in to my 50% retirement in december when Im 67yo.
I also really plan to continue to cut weight, it might take around a year or more, Ive done 5kg since januari, its ten more to go.
Keep on tugging my friends and lift heavy. I have also started to listen to the podcast Barbell Logic, its great info and entertaining for us SS-fans.
