    Felt great!
Had a goodby day yesterday with Marcus, my 21 y/o son and his mother. Watched the musical ”the book of mormons” and then a really good dinner with steaks and the whole tjobang.
He is going to australia on tuesday for a one year backpacker adventure. I going to miss him a lot.
Great lifting, man! What, you're going to be 67 this year? Fantastic work!

I envy your son. That's the sort of thing I would have loved at his age!

Over all a good session, the Backoff squat was a grinder, I was in a hurry so I cut it short no curls.[emoji123]

That you survived the peace and love revolution and had fun is a testament to your longevity!

No wonder you're able to handle over 250 pounds in the squat. But when it comes to fear of missing a rep, learn to embrace it. You'll know you've really pushed hard. I cannot begin to explain the amount of reps I've missed over the decades.

Embrace does the trick, yes, and never quit. Hope your lifting goes well.
Funny thing happened when I ate my burger at the grill last night after training. A couple of youngsters tried to provoke me, And I asked, do we know each other? They where surprised I talked back, and suddenly one of the guys ask how much I deadlift. He must have noticed I still had my liftingshoes on. I told him 150kg,
Wich is not really true, its 147,5.
He was impressed and got little off when I asked how much he pulled, and he then started talking about benchpressing 92kg. I said good for you and got myself out of there.

Heh, that a couple young bucks thought you were worth provoking tells me they saw you as a worthy opponent!

It always irritated me when folks asked me how much I benched. My answer was my bench sucked and my squat was my strength. They always lost interest in a hard lift.

I note that you do many accessory lifts. Which are most helpful? Keep up the good work.
