    7/4-20 tuesday
    Blockpull w straps
    147,5kgx5
Better legs today, no shaky Jake. No problem, perhaps a slight tweak in right hamstring during last warmup. Decided not to worry, a good day.

    9/4-20 Thursday
    Bench
    77kgx5,4,3
One fiver, the other sets not so good. Plan was 5,5,4
I tried but failed. Could have done backoffs but it was late. As a total of 12reps it was one better than last time, so its a small win.

    12/4-20 sunday
    Press
    42,5kgx4x4
Tired, bad sleep and a lot to do. The empty bar felt heavy so I decided to go a little ”light”, dont push for fives.

I've been reading what Andy Baker said about cycling. Go up to a max, drop down and work your way up to a slightly higher max. He says you can't always grind it out.

Yes I like Andy and his thinking around programming, never tried This cycling with the weight over several weeks. In a way I cycle reps.I think of my 5rep sets as heavy, and then when I raise I go for fives, it usually feels like a lighter effort. Are you planning a change of program?

Not really planning to change much. Maybe just throw in a lighter day once in a while if I feel beat up.
One main lift and something to help me be able to get a chin up is plenty for me at this stage of my life. Hope things are going well for you. This sure is the strangest time I've ever lived through.

Chin up is hard, a couple of kilos extra around the waist is my problem, I happy to say I dont do them as I probably should, because can, I dont have a coach. Things goes fairly well, no bad covid in sight, have to be carefull. How are you?
