    Tuesday 20/10-20
    Squat
    50kgx5x3
    Press
    27,5kgx5x3
    Chins
    3x1
Oh so weak at chins. I just got my stolen rubberband replaced with a new one. Have not tried chins in a long time, my own fault.
    Squat and press works fine.

It goes well, had a nice feeling in lower abdomen. Its activation of muscles thats been resting for six month. So its wakie waikie for those fibers. Tomorrow is big ”boats on land day” hard work, carry, tug, push and lift for 6-8 hours. Wish me luck!

    Good luck with your boat.

Do you have any lifting goals before your birthday?

    Thanks Fred
Boatday was a tuff one. 10 hours of manual labour with continous raining. Goals are just continue three days a week LP. Maybe I try high bar squat, just to be able to make it to my first competition if I dare to sometime in the future. For now and forward its important to stay corona free.
My long term goals is a new pr at 330lbs DL
Over 180lbs in bench and over 120lbs in press
Squat a new pr over 260lbs
That may or may not happen during the next two years.

    20kgx5x3
    Bench
    65kgx5x3

Learning to high bar squat, two reasons. Plan to try a meet in the future, and my low bar squat is with straps. And I can use it as a light day squat.

Hurley suggested the following for me and it has worked so far..

I don't have shoulder problems from the squat, but it is difficult to get them loosened up enough to get the bar low enough on my back and get my wrists set up better. My own solution was finding some squat supports I could move in closer than the standard power rack widths would allow my hands to go.
I am able to do low bar squats being very careful with the shoulders by being very careful getting in and out of position. While squatting I do not notice any problems with the shoulders at this time.

    Hope this helps!

Yes, i think I read that one, I think my problem is twofold with the shoulders, also think its my upper back thats rounding. My dad had the same problem. I think its called kyophis, or something similar. I tried for about a year or two really hard. Then I stopped trying. Its so much easier to do low bar with straps. My pr is 120kgx1 with straps, no problem, the bar sits just fine on the back, below the spine of the scapula. It was Carl Raghavan that made me try the straps. He was here in Stockholm and coached me and my son, great coach!
