I am watching the World Cross-Country skiing Championships from Germany and it has been warm there too. A lot of areas not covered by snow.
I should watch it to, have kind of bad conscience about it. There are some swedes there.

Nice work on the sqts. Your weather seems similar to what we have in NY, although I guess you did have more snow over the winter. I'm ready for spring.

Thanks, yes the squat moves a little now, feels great.
I understand NY can be really cold in winter, even its at the same level as Madrid in spain.
    Hope you get spring soon.

Im a little surprised over the progress, it must be my change in diet. I more or less doubled my protein intake. Boring eggwhites/eggomelets, cooked fish, vegetables and protein powder.
Two days a week I eat normal lunch in restaurant with my old buddy and friend. I love those fried potatos and steak with sauce.
And perhaps the retirement, it makes me sleep more.
Of course I rest between sets, a lot.

What ever you are doing it's working and that's great!

Sleep and extra protein sounds right.

Oh and sorry about the Swedes....a Russian followed by 5 Norwegians were the top six in that men's race. I have not finished watching the downhill and super g races yet. I think a swede lady was leading the women's where I left off.

Edit: Sweden 1st in women's downhill.

Ok, I missed the downhill. But the women team made gold. The sweden men are a bunch of losers I think.

These last days Ive been so tired after work, it must be the spring with the light and all. Had to force myself to go down to the basement and grab the bar. The last rep felt as it was taking an eternity to drag upp the legs. Detected some shakin leg movements. Back is ok, my former weak spot. Celebration with usual load of fish, a pound is my normal dose of protein.

No progress really, but no regress either, so all is well then.
