Squat: 350 3x5 PR (10 minute rest between sets)

Summary: Big day for me today. 350 is somewhat of a milestone for me and I'm glad that I was able to get these on video too. I have the tendency to go about 2 inches too deep on my squats so I worked on that for my last two sets and was happy with how they looked. The 15th rep was one of the toughest reps I have ever done but I gutted it out. I'm thinking about going to 3x3 on Squats starting with 355 and seeing where I can end up with that. All in all I'm glad to have reached 350 on an LP and it is onwards and upwards from here. Bench and Power Clean tomorrow.

    Bench 210 3x3 -- not bad
Power Clean 190 4 sets of 2 reps

Notes: Next Workout will be Tuesday most likely. Deadlift and Overhead press.

Carson: It wasn't my phone that took the video so no. Two things I always focus on as weight increases are not going so deep and cutting that little bit of knee-slide at the bottom. I will have videos for this next week as I'm finally returning to my home gym for a training session.

    11/25/14

    Light Squat 280 2x5

Overhead Press: 160 x 2 165x1 170x1 PR -- I contacted Coach Feigenbaum about programming so things will be changing for me probably. This explains why I decided to work up to a 1 rep max for today. Pretty happy with a 170 press considering my upperbody lifts have especially always sucked and I have around a 6 foot 6 wingspan so the bar travels a long way. I think I had 175, but decided not to push it today.

Deadlift 390 x 5 (5 rep PR) -- Hard but good. Used a mix grip as my grip was fatigued going into deadlifts today.

Post Workout: Played pick-up basketball for about an hour. Haven't played hard in awhile, but I was extremely happy with my performance as the 1 day a week of maintaining my skills has definitely been enough to stay sharp.

Summary: Another day logged in and guess what? Going back to NC for first time since I came here in June. Looking forward to the Thanksgiving day feast. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Best of luck getting home. Weather is supposed to be pretty bad along the East Coast.

    Thanks David

    Squat 355 x 5 375 x 1 395 x 1 400 x 1: PR City

Summary: Decided to work close to a One RM in the squat -- I will have video of 400 up soon. I'm happy with the 400 as I weighed in at 200.8 lbs prior to the workout so I've got a double bodyweight squat with just an LP so far which is nice. Didn't go any higher because my goal was 400.

Back and with a new program:

Power Clean 3x180 RPE 8.5 3x185 RPE 9 3x180 RPE 9 -- After short break good to get numbers back on the board.
Squat 315x5 RPE 7.5 335x3 RPE 9 305x5 RPE 9 -- My squat form felt out of whack after not squatting for 10 days. Really really bad, but will be better next time.
    Bench with a pause: 165x5 RPE 8 175x5 RPE 8.5 175x5 RPE 9 165x5 RPE 9
    Bench with 3ct pause: 135x6 RPE 8.5 135x6 RPE 9 130x6 RPE 9

Summary: I think today highlighted the beauty of using RPE (although I suck at it currently). On the SS program I would have left the gym after squats felt way to heavy way to quickly, but at least I was able to get some work in. Looking forward to the next workout as I get back in the swing of things.
