Off night shift, getting over being sick. But a three hour nap helps a bit.

Feeling better but diet has been shit. Weight up but not from good macros. Need some more protein, veggies, etc.
Sq - didn't do, shoulder hurt from the flu shot. Whatever.

Went to do the second set and got super lightheaded and woozy as I locked out the second rep. 95 degrees in the garage and 16 straight days of work didn't help.

Went to Yosemite for a few days to do some fishing. Back now and lifting strong.

Last set felt ugly. Didn't have my feet or the bar set well. Still ground them out

Last rep wouldn't go. Reset to 125 next time around.
Overall a solid afternoon.

Definitely think this was a PR but then didn't take enough recovery time before the final set. Still a nice feeling. That 225 looming

Early morning workout because I have a flight at 1115. Never lift as well in the AM (I think it has to do with cortisol or just being a wimp) but I loaded up w food and gave it a shot

Could tell the squat wasn't going to go from the start but thought I might surprise myself. I didn't. Then tried to do a reset, which has been coming for a while, and couldn't add properly, hence the 250 for a set. 260 moved well though
Press 140*3 125*5*3
This felt good. The 140 was heavy but it was nice to hit that number again. I think 145*3 is a max so it's nice to see that about to fall. I'm nearing a switch to "The Bridge" but I'm not quite there yet.

Grant's Training Log
Traveling on vacation. Eating poorly (very low protein) and not sleeping enough and drinking a bit too much. Got my ass to a decent gym though.

This felt a bit heavier than I think it should have but...travel, diet, etc

Definitely weak today but hit a PR!
Did a drop set to get some volume and shit did not agree w me. No more seeking out high intensity singles, time to just focus on volume.
Finished up with my first time pushing a prowler. Nearly yielded vomit. Definitely felt awful afterward but got my heart rate up.
Need to eat better and sleep better and all on this trip. We'll see if that happens.
