Nice PRs man! Prowler works as such: add weight start with a couple 45lb plates (depending on the weight of the prowler), push for length of the track as hard as you can, repeat. Keep up the good work.

I dropped my first plate on my toe today. 45lbs.. right on my big toe...none of other toes ..just..fuck that toe in particular.
Anyway, ill be there in feburary to support you guys if I don't see you before then.

I haven't tried a 1RM on squat or bench in a month or two... but I did sign up on the starting strength forum ranking log! Training is going so well right now.. not sure if I should "test" I've never had a "test" day.. but I am planning on the meet May23rd at brute.. any suggestion as to when an advanced novice should test?
I'm... halfway through my 18th week on the program. 5R(PR's) (I can't assume to know my 5RM with just LP)

No "true" 1RMs until the meet. You'll hit some heavier singles as the meet approaches, but no reason to risk hurting yourself before it actually counts. You're still several months out, so we'll talk more about a peaking plan as it gets closer. Just keep pushing for now.

Felt really heavy warming up.. I threw in about 20 chin ups last night before I went to bed..5 at a time.. I'm going to assume my arms were tired from that extra work they were unaccustomed to. Starting to get a little elbow tension and soreness.. form might need to be worked a little.. I'll try and make a vid soon or bribe Austin for some of his time.

Power Cleans felt good for the first time.. a few failed reps in there due to form..maybe three altogether.. I didn't count them and kept at my set until I got three good ones.
