Great job on the squats, they look good.

A good massage has always cured my achy arms. Find a good therapist.

    Good evening everyone!

    February 7th, 2015

    5'5; 171lbs; 31 y/o

    Squats - 295x5; 295x2; 280x5 - A new PR
    Bench Press - 200x5x3
    Deadlift - 330x5

Wednesday's squat workout of 290x5x3 was really tough. My legs felt like jello afterwards. For my next squat workout, I'm going to do 1 top set, with 2 backoff sets. I did 1 backoff set today after I failed my second set with only 2 reps. I'm not going to reset again as I know this was just plain hard. My first set sort of showed that.

I was thinking about doing TM for my Presses, but decided I'll do HLM instead.

I jumped up 10 pounds from last week on the deadlift because I felt that I'd catch up with my squat soon enough if I didn't. Plus, I've previously deadlifted 355lbs at weight of 155lbs, so I'm sure I was able to do 330lbs.

    Here is my squat set:

    Good evening everyone!

    Squats - 235x5x3
    Press - 137.5x5x3
    PowerCleans - 125x3x5

Light day for squats. Press day on HLM. Both went well. I was exhausted though due to not enough rest last night... c'est la vie.

Power Cleans - still working on form. Really having a hard time with them... blah.

    But, overall, good workout

    Good morning All!

    February 11th, 2015

    Squats - 300x3x3 - PR!!!!!
    Incline Press - 45degrees - 155x5x2
    Chin Ups - 30x5x3

Today is definitely a day to remember as I hit a personal milestone of 300lbs. I know I'm still weak, and have a long way to go, but today was a great accomplishment for me.

I decided to go with Incline Press for my "medium" day for pressing. I think I'll stick with a 45 degree angle for now and then switch to 60 degrees later on.

Here is my 2nd set of Squats:

    Good Evening All!

    February 14th, 2015
    Weight - 171.2lbs

    Squats - 300x5; 285x5x2 - Rep PR on 300lbs for 5 reps
    Bench Press - 205x5x3
    Deadlift - 335x5
    Chin Ups - 10/9/8

I believe that I'm going to switch to an intermediate program completely next week. Either a 4 day TM split, or HLM. I'm not quite sure yet... Any thoughts?

    Chin Ups - 10/9/8

Oh, I just picked up a Texas Power Bar today. I'll be using it for tomorrow's workout Pretty happy about that!

Your squats look fantastic. As you noted, the power cleans are way off though. I am only on week 9 of the program (and just got comfy with the PC myself) so I am in no position to offer much advice; but If you haven't already, throw one of your videos in the coaching section. They give some really helpful advice over there. Keep up the good work.

    Thank you Adam.

Yes, my Power Cleans are pitiful. I've posted a video over in the technique forum. Lately when trying them, I found that they caused my elbows to hurt quite a bit. So I'm backing off on them for a while to just work on form, and will just replace them with chins for now.

    starting strength coach development program
    Good evening everyone,

    February 18th, 2015

I'm officially transitioning to an upper/lower split. I'm going to do the upper/lower split in PP3ed that includes bench volume and press volume with 5x5 and 3x8.

However today, I just did a 5RM for Bench and 3x5 on Press
    Bench - 210x5
    Press - 125x5x3
    Chin Ups - 10/9/8
