Hey thanks Matt. I think maybe I jumped to singles on squat a little early. I may have been able to grind out triples past 330 but I'm not sure. I got a little impatient after my pulled muscle.
I may be able to milk out another 5-15 lbs as singles at this point on squat. I think my DL will go up for a while at 5 lbs a week for triples.
as far as presses go if I don't regress at this point I'll be ok with that. I got a ton of life stress/moving in couple weeks that I'm probably not going to make any drastic programming changes till I can focus on lifting with a clearer head.
yup volume will have to return soon. I'm leaning towards Texas 4 day split. I will need some micro plates to do that with presses though. I'm still kind of wishy washy about what program to commit to. I have to wait till after the move to make a decision though.

everything felt good up until 350. I'm out of my groove. Form feels like its all over the place. I think this is related to decreased volume. I think I'm actually detraining as I have been peaking....not sure if that even makes sense.
I think I need to deload and work back up using 5 rep sets. I'm unsure of the appropriate weight to start my fives again.

have made my desicion as to my intermediate programming for now. I don't currently have the diet or recovery for Texas method. KISS it is. This is going to be a good re introduction to volume. The offload feels good while still feeling like work. I know this will be getting hard in a few weeks. Not looking toward to 5x5 squats ha....will be good to be getting the volume on them and the practice. I need it I feel like I have forgotten the movement from doing such low volume for so long.
Other notes....
I'm going to be doing this for now with an extra day consisting of a press workout and my dead lift is still on an LP and making good progress so I'm not going to fuck with that for now. Deads will keep doing my one or two triples and heavy single for now on Friday.

I was dreading going in and hitting 265 5x5 based on how the had couple of weeks have felt. I almost bitched out on even going in today.
I'm glad I didn't. Squats felt great. Snappy with little to no grind. I think running triples and singles had ground me in to the dirt.
other notes....
going to track tonnage for warm ups and work sets. I'm not really sure how to use that data but will track it anyways.
also I was supposed to squat 75% of my 1 rm which would have been 262.5 but I rounded up. I need a way to micro load. Going to try to find some ankle weights or something so I can be more accurate with my percentages. I want to avoid rounding when I can. Actual percentage today was about 76% instead of 75%
other other notes.....
working on narrower stance. I have been getting a twinge in my right knee that maybe is from my wide stance I had been using we shall see....should have listened to Gilchrest.

at least I know I'm getting stronger my first 2 times I was at 265 on squat were ball busting hard for 3x5. Nice to be able to bust out same weight 5x5 and have it feel easy ish
