So this is my new log. Having done the strong lifts 5x5 for 7 full weeks I think I can say I gave it a fair shot. Worked as advertised. Solid routine.

However time constrains left me rushing to get through my routine. Those extra 2 sets plus rest were just not happening.

Anyways I like that there is a supportive community here which is lacking w/ strong lifts.
    middle of 8th week training.
    male 33
    height 5'7"
    weight 207.....212
    bp 95........155
    sq 95.........200
    pr 55..........105
    DL 115........225 1x5
    Dl 300 single PR
    rows 55.......130

    today 1/8/15

    squats 200 3x5
    press 105 3x5
    DL 225 1x5
    DL single 275 (PR)
    DL single 300 (PR)

    dips 8/4/4 (PR)
chins 2/1.5/1.5 shitty reps.i suck at these

decided to hit a couple of "heavy singles on the DL to see what I could do and surprised myself with 2 prs back to back. Mixed grip really helped.

perhaps I need to reevaluate my DL workset number.

Looking toward to purchasing the books in the near future and also incorporating power cleans or snatches so I can be DTFP officially.

    Hi, welcome.

The books are definitely worth it. SS:BBT in particular has helped me tremendously.

If you were to shave my back and chest I could single handedly supply the continental usa's merkin needs. Is this market dominated by gingers and chemo patients or is it sort of like, "it's thursday night and i'm feeling sassy, I want my taint hair to be bright pink so I can get off in the way Thursdays are supposed to be"?

    1/9/15

    conditioning day

did 8 rounds hitt on the efx machine. 20 s to 1:40 ratio

going trying to get at least 1 session per week hitt ideally 2 if my lifts won't suffer.
this will be 2nd hitt session of the week.

    started tracking macros as well.

    yesterday 174/253/105/2650

prob not optimal but its giving me an idea of how and what I need to do to
    hit macros

goal is 200/250/100/3000 to start with. This is proving to be a challenge.

    1/10
    Squat......205 felt solid
Bench......160 solid as well a little slow down but don't feel a stall coming yet
Rows........135 much better with the 45s on there. Less back strain
    Dips............8/4/4
Practiced racking position of cleans. This feels awkward to me. I don't feel like I have any meat on my deltoid's lol. Was in a time crunch but got er done in 40 min.

    Macros for 1/10/15

horseshit eating today. No appetite. Tried to make up macros with 3 mcdoubles.....gross.
killed appetite (what little there was) for rest of day. Felt like chucking all evening.

spend more time in nutrition forum.
macro tracking not as tedious as I imagined it to be
