    standard grip. I want to stick with that as long as I can, I think the 20# jump wasn't the wisest thing I've ever done...though of course it is no where near the dumbest.

    Mr. Bingley, what are Aussie chins.The yard work thing is getting kind of old for me.if I sell my house and move to an over 55 condo. I may have to give up my garage gym.but then I can join a gym and use the rower and enjoy the scenery.

    Tues 4/28/15 light day
    SQ 45 1x5, 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 205 3x5
    BP 95 3x10

    I had my biannual dermatologist's checkup before I went to the gym. As he was looking me over he said "hmmm, there's this this dry roughed up patch across the top of your back. Has it been itching a lot and you've been scratching it?" I laughed and said, no, that's where the bar is when I do squats! He laughed.

    Squats were ok, really trying to make sure I go deep enough because I feel I've been cheating on the depth on some of them recently. and I did a bunch of BP because I absolutely despise it and will therefore force myself to get that damned weight higher.

    Oh and speaking of weight, my body weight is 214, so down 2lbs or so but an overall meaningless fluctuation.

    Thanks for the link to the Aussie pullups. I will give them a try.may help me get some reps on regular chins.

    that's why I'm doing them, jerry. i am so pathetic on the regular pull ups, i just hang there like a caught horse thief.

    Thurs 4/30/15 med day
    SQ 45 1x5, 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 225 2x5, 185 1x8
    BP 95 1x10, 115 3x5
    DL 135 1x5, 185 2x5

    kind of fun doing 225 on a medium day! felt a little pooped so i did 2 sets than did a back off to 185 for 8. man you guys are right, that felt really light after the 225! BP were meh as always, and I took advantage of some empty floor space to get the DLs in; left grip still not as strong as i would like but nothing slipped out at least.

    Ain't it nice when your former PR is a nice easy back off set?
