    You have probably said this already but at your age why are you not able to get more sleep? For that matter, how will you be able to make gains with such little sleep? In NJ there are SS coaches nearby. Maybe one of them can get you organized.

    I see that you do or have worked with Adam. That's good. I also reread you commuting insanity. Have you thought about a change in lifestyle? Someday we are going to be dead and all of that pressure you are under now won't mean anything. Just a thought.

    Work carson I get up at 3:40am to commute into Manhattan and I just can't get to bed before 10pm at the very earliest, usually more like 10:30. That's just life unfortunately, this whole "paying bills" thing lol. I certainly have made gains, but not to the level that I could have (or so I hope) but I'm ok with that, I'll do what I can do. We do have excellent SS coaches, you are correct, and I have had the privilege of working a couple of times with Adam Skillin to whom all credit for any gains I have made must be given. He's done great work with what little I have been able to give him.

    sq 45 1x10, 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 225 1x5, 255 3x5
    ohp 75 1x5, 95 1x5, 105 2x5, 1x4, 95 1x5
    dl 225 1x5, 295 3x5

    just couldn't get that last rep up at 105 on the ohp
    deads felt ok, wheezing a bit on the last set at 295 carson has inspired me to focus on my deads and get that darned 4th wheel

    Dl is supposed to be 5 X 1 not 5 x 3. At 295 you are putting the fear of God in me. I have a few more weeks before I will get back to 340. You may catch me.

    well if I'm Not Doing The Program as far as sleep goes why bother doing it as far as work sets either? lol

    i was a little concerned about what might be in the tank when i got to the gym at 945 or so because i had gotten up at 445 and spent and hour and a half shoveling the 8" of Global Warming we got yesterday.

    I was very pleasantly surprised. squats all felt good; 275 felt heavy but not outrageously so; the ohp i didn't put a lot into as i wanted to save some for the deads. very happy how 355 came up; it didn't fly but never really in doubt.

    see how i feel tomorrow...

    lol on the 8" of global warming.
    I am really looking forward to when all the ice melts and I get a waterfront property!
