Props for getting your workout done.

I could tell on the work set of the SQ that there was no way 3x5 was happening
And I had a meeting to go to so I conveniently had an excuse to cut the workout short lol
Even trying to get the work set in after that evening with you client.... it must have been pure horror?
pure and unadulterated.
Sun 5/24/15 Heavy day
SQ 135 1x5, 205 1x5, 255 3x5 PR, 225 1x8
BP 45 1x5, 95 1x5, 115 1x5, 135 1x5 PR, 125 1x8
DL 135 1x5, 205 1x5, 255 1x5 PR
Hauled around another 25 wet bags of mulch yesterday so didn't have a lot of hope for today, especially after I woke up sore as all hell and even had to pop a few aspirin. Well well well, shows what I know. The PRs were flying boys and girls. Sure there were a couple dodgy squats out of the 15 on the work sets but I got through them and MAN did 225 feel light on the back-off set. Was able to grind out a set at 135 on the BP which felt nice (but I didn't use the Big Boy plate), and was finally able to get the 255 off the floor for the full set. The DLs all came up fine but the left hand started failing me on the 4th rep so I reset and paused for a second before doing the last rep. All in all a pretty AWESOME session so I am heading down to the Highlands for some fried fish and cold beer.
Sounds great.
Re yard work and lifting, some of my best workouts have been after clearing the driveway from wet snow. That takes about an hour, and I'm absolutely worn out. Great warm-up for lifting! < shrugs >
A perfect day at the Shore!
