Still, you did 8 reps of backoff squats after that - that's gotta be really tough! I'm always so glad when I reach 5 ... takes some toughness to keep on going!
Tues 5/26/15 light day
SQ 45 x5, 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 205 1x5, 225 1x5, 185 1x8
OHP 45 1x5, 65 1x5, 85 1x5, 105 1x4, 65 1x10
DBP 70 1x10, 80 1x10, 90 1x10
long long weekend of physical labor, lifting, and copious amounts of booze and eating caught up with me. Sq were a chore, especially since i am trying to get the bar to the low position from the very high one I use now. felt weird, painful and tiring so fugg it; not in a 'fight through it' mood. OHP sucks as always, DBP were just to burn off some steam.

Thurs 5/28/15 Med day

back was a little twingy, shoulders still felt tired, still tried a few 135s at low bar position and it just feels awkward so Hi-diddle-dee-dee, the High Bar life for me. the 235s were grindy, as always not great form/depth on the work sets but all is made right in the back-offs. Per advice in the elderly thread I decided to do a lot of medium weight DLs to try and strengthen up my grip so I can avoid hook for as long as possible...
