the groundhog popped his head up in the gym after another missed week. sq were ok, i repeated what i did last week as i didn't want to reset again. bp is pathetic, first time i'd done in ages and it shows. rp i just wanted to do as many as i could to try and jumpstart things. hopefully will get a series of workouts in this week

I'm glad to see that squats feel good for somebody. I've entered the "hate" phase of my love-hate relationship with squats.

I think my deads are cheating on me...they really haven't put out for me in ages

So I really didn't want to do my last set of squats tonight. I told myself, "Just do it and be done with it. It'll be unpleasant, but it'll be over pretty quickly, and then you won't have to think about it again for another week."

Gee, now I know how my wife feels.

was in a big rush and rushed my warmups quite a bit. at the end of the 1st set at 295 felt a twinge in the right knee so figured best to call it a night. will try to be more...relaxed...next session

    sat 2/9/19
    sq 45 1x10, 135 1x5, 245 1x5, 285 1x5, 295 2x5
    bp 95 1x5, 115 1x5, 125 1x3
    dl 225 1x5, 295 1x5, 335 1x2, 1x3

knee felt fine at 285 so did balance of work at 295. bp is a joke, showing i'm still a pencil neck in the upper body. 335 felt really heavy, my deads have slipped a long way.
