i'm doing snatch grip deads as a warm down, and i'm finding these are helping a lot on my shoulder/arm development, sort of shockingly so, i'm like why is there contact between my biceps and my manboobs lol feels weird
i agree on the light/heavy bit, and plan on as soon as i fail on my 3x5 heavy set to switch to something like that, so that's not too far in the future i'm sure
covid has messed up things completely. my gym closed and went out of business, access to gyms is very very limited in nj now, and the ones near me are all planet fitness types that will not let me deadlift or squat; only machines. i was finally able to get a bar and some weights for my garage, but i don't have the space or money for a rack, so deadlifts it is. I do like the idea of rows, so i'll try and work in some pendleys, things like that; thanks for the suggestion!
I see, this covid-19 is a gamechanger. Im lucky I got my rack years ago. I think you are doing great, its just as easy to give up on training, I can tell thats not an option for you. You will propably evolve to a DL specialist, strong as hell.
Mr. B do you not have enough room for a set of squat stands?
Where there is a will there is a way. Lifting in the corner of a bedroom living in an apartment townhouse I built up to bp 280 sq 285-5 and dl 340 on a minimum of almost all homemade equipment. Granted I worked at a machine shop when I built my rack and bar. I had to buy just plates. This was 40 years ago... and I if I knew what I know now..
