    oh I am pleased with how things turned out, PD, absolutely. It was so nice to do something after 7 months of nothing. Now I'll mix in some other things and chug along

    had a minor medical treatment on weds and wasn't allowed to do anything heavy for several days, so spent morning sawing and splitting wood then just did some presses and pends.

    dl 135 1x5, 185 1x5, 265 1x5, 315 3x5
    sgdl 195 3x5*

    felt pretty good. figured i'd repeat last successful heavy day before fail since it's only been a week, i did go up 5 on the sgdl. oh, and the *: i do the sgdl sort of as a back off to the regular deads. so i had the 3-45 wheels on each side, and i took off weight and loaded a 25 and 5 on each side to make the 195, right? went to do my first sgdl and sonofaBTCH it was glued to the floor. well, silly me, i only took off 1-45 from each side, not 2, so what i thought was 195lb was actually 285 lol oops
